Lynn A. Flohr, 69, of Flanagan, Illinois, passed away at 12:06 a.m. Friday (Jan. 15, 2016) at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington, Illinois.

Lynn was born Oct. 28, 1946 in Pontiac, Illinois, the son of Theodore A. and Mary J. McKeon Flohr. He married Pamela R. Weld on July 22, 1967 in Streator, Illinois.

She survives, along with two sons, Thad J. (Alicia) Flohr and Garrick L. (Donya) Flohr; three grandchildren; his mother, Mary Flohr and one sister, Susan Mille.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Lynn was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Flanagan, and was a U.S. Army veteran who served from 1970 to 1972. He was a seventh and eighth grade reading and English teacher for 33 years at Roanoke-Benson Junior High School, from 1968 until he retired in 2001. He also worked at Caterpillar Tractor Co., Pontiac, for 27 years.
