Sarah was the daughter of Isaac Blackford and Lucinda (Hull) Harmon.  She married Charles B. West about 1890.  They are on the 1900 and 1910 censuses in Macon County, Illinois without any children.  They either divorced or Charles died and Sarah went back to using her maiden name.

MISS SARAH HARMON, INDIANA NATIVE, DIES

Miss Sarah Harmon, about 88, of 943 S. Broadway, died yesterday morning after an illness of two months.

She was a daughter of the late Isaac B. Harmon and was born in Whitestown, Ind.  Most of her life was spent in Decatur.  She came here from Whitestown.

Miss Harmon was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

Funeral services be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the J. J. Moran & Sons Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Berea Cemetery, near Niantic.  Friends may call at Moran's after 2:30 p.m. today.
