She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband of 57 years: Daniel B. Smigay; daughter: Sandra A. Smigay of Alexandria, Virginia; sister: Faye M. Woodrow of Alexandria, Virginia; brother: Jimmy L. Martin of Lexington; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Friday, January 22, 2016 at Still Hopes Retirement Community. Father Johnny Davis will officiate. Burial will follow in Woodridge Memorial Park. The family will greet friends from 1 to 2 PM at Still Hopes, West Columbia, SC 29169. Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia assisted the family.
