LaVonda Carol Ballard, 60, Elizabeth, died Sunday, Jan. 17, 2016, at Park Terrace Village in Evansville.
Born Sept. 21, 1955, in Corydon, she was the daughter of Carolyn Sieboldt Ballard of Elizabeth and the late Donald (Ray) Ballard.
She was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church in Elizabeth.
Survivors besides her mother include two brothers, John Ballard (Pamela) of Elizabeth and David Ballard (Brenda) of Waco, Ky.; three sisters, Sallie Wernert (Larry) of Elizabeth, Roselyn Smith (Jim) of Berea, Ky., and Teresa Agee (Ray) of Richmond, Ky.; friend, Karen Varda of Evansville; nieces and nephews, Jeremy Ballard (Rachel), Radford Ballard (Miranda), Jessica Davis (Junior), Daniel Ballard (Rachel), Rebecca Williams (Brandon), Brian Agee (Kesha), Robbie Smith (Ashley), Jamie Grubb (Curtis), Tasha McArthur (Josh), Rachel Mil (José), Elizabeth Kirkham (Jacob) and Brandon, Dillon and Kristen Wernert; 20 great-nieces and great-nephews; and one great-great-niece.
Visitation: Wednesday, Jan. 20, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, Jan. 21, after 9 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
