Wendel Edmund Stein was a son of Anton Peter Stein and Catherine Pitts. He enlisted in the Army 8/1/1942 at Jefferson Barracks, St. Louis, NO. He had at least four children with hi wife, Bernadette M. Neither. Both buried together at St. Mary's Cemetery, Bridgeton (now Hazelwood), St. Louis Co., MO. He died of lung cancer.
