was the youngest of six children. She is survived by her three sons Adam, Dana and Darcy. Esther was raised on a farm in Nebraska. Working hard in the fields of the family farm she was still able to achieve top grades in school.
She helped the war effort working in a meat packing plant that created meals to be shipped to the troops serving in Europe and the Pacific. Her and her fellow workers slipping notes within the meals to bring joy and laughter to the boys over seas.
After the war Esther met Adam and they were married Christmas Eve 1947. They're travels led them from Nebraska, to Colorado, to California eventually retiring in Idaho. Esther loved Idaho as it reminded her so much of her childhood farm life.
though quiet, was the strength of her family. Her wise and subtle words gave direction to her family. These words of advice and encouragement were given lovingly and freely. Esther was kind and charitable to all she met. Many seeking her council. Her philosophy being if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all.
