TALLULAH, OCT.22 - Jerry M. Carroll, 65, resident of St. Joseph, died in a Monroe hospital Friday night following a brief illness.
Mr. Carroll was a Tensas parish farmer and a member of the Baptist Church in St. Joseph.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday in the St. Joseph Baptist Church, with the Rev. A. N. Murray and the Rev. John Hurt officiating.
Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery at Oak Grove, La., under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home, of Tallulah.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lilly Carroll; six sons, Joe Carroll, Oak Grove, C.M.Carroll, Baton Rouge, Paul Carroll, in the navy, Roy Carroll, David Carroll and Bill Carroll, all of St. Joseph; two daughters, Mrs. Willie Mae Green, Oak Grove, Miss Doris Carroll, St. Joseph; six grandchildren, four brothers and five sisters.
