Mrs. Mae Buckner Wine , age 88, of Bybee, passed away Thursday evening, March 19, 2015 at her home.
Mrs. Wine was a devoted Christian and member of Basinger Chapel Church. Her hobbies included sewing, puzzles, traveling and cooking. She was a former employee of Wheaton Glass.
She was preceded in death by her parents M.F. Buckner and Angelion Dawson; son Lonnie Wine ; grandson Ron Ron Wine and 13 siblings.
Survivors include her husband Loy Wine of the home; children Dorothy Coleman of Hockley, Texas, Joyce Wine , Greg (Linda) Wine and Augie (Tim) Kelly all of Bybee; Vonda (Mike) McNulty of Saulsbury, N.C; Ronnie (Berdina) Wine of Rocky Mt, N.C; 16 Grandchildren; 33 Great Grandchildren; 8 siblings. Additional survivors include several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be held 11:00am Tuesday morning, March 24, 2015 at Centerview Missionary Baptist Church in Bybee with Rev. Franklin Wine officiating. The casket will lie in state at the church from 10-11am Tuesday prior to service. Interment will be in Centerview Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7-9pm Monday evening, March 23, 2015 at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tn. 38105
