Flonnie Atkinson, age 23, died Wednesday, October 24, 1984 at the North Mississippi Medical Center as the result of a gunshot wound. She was a factory employee.

Services were held Sunday October 28 at the Red Bud M. B. Church with Rev. Sam Calvert officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Westbrooks Funeral Home of Aberdeen was in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include a daughter, Tequlia Michelle Huggins of Okolona;two step-daughters, Tammy Forshee and Mary Forshee, both of Aberdeen;two sons Charles Atkinson, Jr., and Chad Atkinson both of Aberdeen; her father, George W. Huggins of Okolona; two sisters, Rhoda Barr and Mary Thompson, both of Okolona.
