Funeral services for Evelyn Joyce Meherg, 80, will be held at Curtis and Son Funeral Home, Childersburg Chapel on Sunday, April 15, 2012 at 2:00. Bro. David Bearden and the Rev. Harold Meherg will officiate and burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery. She passed away April 12, 2012 at Sylacauga Health and Rehab. Mrs. Meherg was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her son, Jim Wallis. She is survived by her brother, Bill Barnett of Georgetown, TX; sister, Dollice Smith of Childersburg; grandsons, Jack Wallis and Justin Wallis; several nieces and nephews.
