Vickie Ranae Eads, 63, joined her Lord and Savior in her eternal home on January 12, 2016.

Vickie was born June 25, 1952, in Pomona, California, the fourth child of Vernal and Rosalie Filley.

Along with her parents, Vickie was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Filley.

Vickie was united in marriage to David Eads on September 23, 1972. She was a member of the First Assembly of God, Lathrop. She has also served as a first responder for the Lathrop Fire Department.

Vickie loved children, especially teaching them for 23 years in Sunday school. Her hobbies included collecting antiques and jewelry, cooking, and most of all she loved to sing.

Survivors include her husband, David, of the home; sisters, Verna Freels, of Oak Grove, Missouri, and Gloria Maly, of Enid, Oklahoma; a half-brother, Tony Rhoads, of Enid, Oklahoma; plus many other family members.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m., followed by a service celebrating Vickies life at 3 p.m., on Sunday, January 17, at the First Assembly of God, Lathrop.

Burial will follow at Lathrop Cemetery.
