Richard "Rick" L. Chew, 69, passed away on June 29, 2021. He was born on December 28, 1951 in Indianapolis, IN to Ralph and Antha Jane (Mize) Chew.

Rick attended Arsenal Tech high school.

On March 28, 1992, Rick married the love of his life and longtime girlfriend, Jeanie Frazier. They shared over 40 wonderful years together. Jeanie passed away on February 3, 2018.

He worked in maintenance at the Chamber of Commerce for over 30 years, a job he excelled at and enjoyed. Rick worked at Dennison's Parking and several other places as well, even after retiring.

Rick was a loving, hardworking gentleman. He liked to stay busy, working and tinkering around the house. Rick also enjoyed traveling. Rick adored his family and was a wonderful husband, father, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Rick is survived by four children; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister.

Along with his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by several siblings.

Visitation for Rick was on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Flanner Buchanan from 10 AM-12 PM. His funeral began at 12 PM. Rick was laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery.
