Born in Vassalboro, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Frank L. and Josie Mae (Campbell) Blair, and the wife of the late Melvin "Chick" Little, who died in 1976.
She was a graduate of Winslow High School in Maine.
Mrs. Little had been employed by the Registry of Motor Vehicles in Marlborough as a clerk and later as a cashier, retiring in 1983.
She had previously been employed by the former Sam's Bakery, Marlborough.
As a devoted and longstanding member of the First United Methodist Church, Mrs. Little was a Sunday school teacher, serving on most parish committees. She also contributed to her community by her many years of active participation with Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Brownies, Girl Scouts, and the school committee.
She is survived by her sons, James M. Little and his wife, Patricia, of Carmen, Idaho, and Allyn F. Little and his wife, Diane, of Shrewsbury; her daughter, Linda Daley of Framingham; her sister, Virginia "Bunny" Murphy of Pepperell; her grandchildren, Kathy Little of Salmon, Idaho, Michael Little and his wife, Elizabeth, of Shrewsbury, Scott Little and his fiancŽe, Kerry, of Westfield, Tyna Walenski and her husband, John, of Ashland, and Paul Daley of Ayer; her great-grandchildren, Paul Daley, Harry Daley and Julia Daley, all of Shirley, Cole Klatsky and Sydney Little of Shrewsbury; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 15 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services were held on Monday, July 2, in the First United Methodist Church, 52 Church St., Marlborough. Burial followed in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street, Marlborough. Calling hours were held on Sunday, July 1, in the Slattery Funeral Home, Inc., 40 Pleasant St., Marlborough.
