Final rites for Mary Aletha Crawford, 94, who died Much 25th in Electra Nursing Home, were held Tuesday, March 27th at 3 p.m. in First United Presby­terian Church with Rev. Richard Safford, pastor, officiating. Inter­ment was in New Eiectra Ceme­tery under direction of Totten-Day Funeral Home.

A retired Electra Public School District Teacher, she was born Oct. 2nd, 1889 in Brookston, Texas, daughter of the late Brett R. and Fletcher Dean Shaeffer. She had lived in Electra since 1914 and was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: two daugh­ters. Elaine Boatright of Electra and Charlene Sexton of Wichita Falls; a son, Josh Crawford of Odessa; a sister, Gara Barrett of Dallas; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Joe Holmes, Barry Jones, Johnny Thompson, Johnny Marsh, Bill Begeman and Joe Thompson._
