In our heavenly kingdom and in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is to be found a beloved Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, Uncle and Dear friend. Charles Ray “Charlie” Howard. Mr. Howard. 83, formally of Odessa passed away Wednesday January 13, 2016 at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler, Texas. He was born January 4, 1933 in Forsan,Texas to Perry P. & Eunice Admire Howard. He was a devout Baptist Christian and member of Northside Baptist Church, whom Loved the Lord Dearly, he was also an Army Veteran of the Korean War Era, and after 33 years of dedicated service as an Executive Sales Representative, he retired from Hughes Tool Co. For All of Us That New Dad, We Will Always Remember, Him for His Love for Wild Flowers and The Colorado Rockies. Dad is preceded in death by his 1st & 2nd wife: Ruth Joy & Mary Lou Howard, Parents: Perry P. & Eunice Admire Howard, Brother: James Roland Howard, Sisters: Mary Ruth Merchant & Mozelle Abee, He leaves to cherish his memories, his beloved Daughter: Brenda Reeves & husband Gayle of Mineola, TX, Sons: Robert Howard & wife Lisa of Durant,OK, Randy Howard & wife Amy of Hockley, TX, 6 Grandchildren, 3 Great-Grandchildren, Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins & Tons of Friends.
We the family would like to take this time to express our utmost sincere gratitude and appreciation to each and every one for all the prayers, floral arrangements, food offerings and especially your presence with us during this difficult time. A Special Gratitude to His Nurse Christie, His Aid Jackie & to all his Dr.’s & Staff at Hospice of East Texas for all the wonderful Caring Love Given To our Beloved Father Charlie. A Visitation will be held today Friday January 15, 2016 from 6pm to 9pm at Odessa Funeral Home. A Service will be held at 10am Saturday January 16, 2016 in the Chapel of Odessa Funeral Home with Reverend: Clydel Chapman officiating, with Interment being held at 2pm at Trinity Memorial Park Cemetery (6900 S. US -Hwy87 ) in Big Spring Texas,
