Mr. Kovacs, father of the late stage, screen and television personality, Ernie Kovacs, lived in the Trenton, NJ area for 57 years and resided at 1104 Parkway Avenue, Ewing, NJ. He was a former member of the Trenton Police Department serving 28 years.
He is survived by one son, Thomas J. Kovacs of Allentown, NJ; one daughter-in-law, Miss Edie Adams of Beverly Hills, CA; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Cremation was in the Ewing Crematorium.
