Freddie was the son of Newton Gilbert and Arizona Schoolcraft Sims. He married Stella Florence Pritt in 1923 and they had 4 children. His second wife was Amanda (Mandy) Parsons. They raised Amanda's daughter Christina.
Freddie's father was my great-grandfather.
