Leslie Darrell Acton, 82, of Plainfield, passed away January 10, 2016. He was born December 15, 1933 to the late Leslie and Ona Mae (McMullin) Acton in Detroit, MI. He was a 1951 graduate of Plainfield High School and a veteran of the US Navy. He was general manager of Graham Electronics in Indianapolis until 1975. He was then a manufacturer's representative in Consumer's Electronics and retired a a representative for KAR Products in 1974. He was a model train enthusiast. While in the Navy he was stationed on the USS Northampton, and after his discharge he attended many reunions that followed. Darrell is survived by his wife, Barbara J. (Whitaker) Acton; a son, Gregory D. (LaChelle) Acton; a daughter, Sharon Acton Prether; two brothers, Thomas David (Bonnie) and Virgil Lloyd (Marsha) Acton; and three grandchildren, Matthew, MacKenzie and Mitchell Acton.
