Terrible Accident.
Georgia Vickers, the 9 year old daughter of George Vickers, a farmer living near South Byron, Genesee County, had one of his (sic) feet cut off by a mowing machine on Thursday. Her elder sister was driving the team. The smaller girl brought her a drink of water. The team was slow in starting up, the young girl stepped in front of the cutter bars to strike the horses when she had her foot severed.
