Charles Loring Banks, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, January 06, 2016 at Vanderbilt Hospital. He was born in Smithville, TN on January 21, 1952 and was 63 years old. He graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 1976 and was a member of the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity. He worked with his father-in-law at Pulaski Pure Milk Co. for several years. He was a resident of Tuscumbia, AL for the last 30 years. He was owner of Party Pack in Littleville for 25 years. He previously owned several other businesses in the area: Charlie’s Place, Paradise Video, Charlie’s Auto Parts, and Bills Café. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 16, 2016 from 12:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m at Colbert Memorial Chapel in Tuscumbia, AL with a memorial Service to follow in chapel. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery in Pulaski, TN.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Ann McPeters Banks and his mother and father, Anna Ruth Barks and Charles Loring Banks, Sr.

He is survived by his son, Phillip Loring Banks; sisters, Freda Pinagar (Kenneth), Ann Palmer (Jerry), Joy Whitman (Trent); brother, Timothy Banks (Angela); sister-in-law, Janice Arnette; nephews, Brad, Josh, Jason, Anthony and Aiden; nieces, Courtney and Autumn.

Colbert Memorial Chapel is assisting the family.
