"EPHRAIM ROBINSON DIES AT HOME ON ELM STREET - One of the Most Highly Respected Residents of City - Ephraim Robinson, one of the oldest and best known residents of the city, died at his home at No 151 West Elm street Thursday evening, after a short illness. The deceased was born at North Collins, NY, 73 years ago. When quite young he was married to Miss Margaret Graham. Three children, Mrs James A Shutt of Fostoria, O, and Joseph and William Robinson of this city, survive him. Forty-three years ago Mr Robinson moved to this city, and ever since then he had been one of the well known residents of Titusville. He was at one time a member of the select branch of the city councils, and his work in the city government was such as to earn for him the respect and confidence of all who knew him. The deceased was a communicant of St Titus' church and an enthusiastic member of the CMBA. The funeral will take place on Monday morning at St Titus' church, the Rev Thomas W Cavanaugh officiating. The interment will be made in St Catherine's cemetery."
(Titusville Morning Herald, Nov 27, 1908, p.8)

"The funeral services in memory of the late Ephriam Robinson were held Monday morning at 7 o'clock at St Titus' church. Rev Thomas W Cavanaugh pronounced absolution and celebrated the requiem service. The members of Branch No 1, CMBA, attended the funeral in a body, the deceased being a member of the order. The interment was made in St Catherine's cemetery, the bearers being Robert Butler, John McMahon, Walter Brazill, Charles Rau, John Haehn and John Purlill. The large attendance and the beautiful floral tributes laid on the grave attested the esteem in which the deceased was held. A special trolley car took those present at the interment from the church to the cemetery. Those from abroad in attendance were: Mrs James A Shutt of Fostoria, O, Mr and Mrs Andrew Burley of Jamestown, NY, John Butzer of Piffard, NY, and Andrew Robinson of Hamburg, NY."
