Ms. Linda Marie Skinner , age 77, passed away from congestive heart failure on October 16, 2015, in Houston, TX.
Linda was born on April 2,1938 in Jackson, TN. She was a single mother, who worked hard all of her life to support her children. There were times when she worked 3 jobs. She was known for how fast she walked because she had no car and walked to work or the bus stop to get to work. She was a devoted Christian and loved to go to Lakewood Church or watch the service on tv. Everyone she came in contact with loves her. Always a smile on her face and a kind word. She loved to bake cakes and read her bible.
Linda is survived by her children, Amy Marie Worthington and her husband Zach of Crosby, TX. Henry Smith Skinner IV and his wife Maria of Sealy, TX, Timothy Eason of Houston, TX and Lonnie Eason of Houston, TX. She has 14 grandchildren Melissa, Zachary, Michael, Christobal, Kera, Kevin, Autumn, Christian, Bella, Bryan, Tyler, Chris, William and Chase. She is preceded in death by her parents Charlie Kenneth Sloan and Mary Lou Sloan of Jackson, TN; her brother Lou Edward Sloan, of Portland, OR and her daughter Linda Dale Box of Coldwater, MS.

A funeral is scheduled but is a private service. Pastor Jonathan Brandenburg, officiating.
