Virginia Louise Trible, 84, of Richardsville died Saturday, Feb. 8, 2003, at Mary Washington Hospital. Born in Washington on March 8, 1918, she had retired from VDOT after 17 years. She was the oldest member of Oakland Baptist Church in Richardsville, where she taught Sunday school. She was a member of the Culpeper Garden Club and was active with the Social Services Department providing transportation. Her parents were the late Marvin Brown Balderson and Maude Louise Prestell Balderson. She was the widow of William E. Trible Sr. Survivors include four sons, Lyle Eugene Harry and Kazuko of Lakewood, Wash., Paul Allan Harry and Jaynece of Lake of the Woods, Charles Ty Trible and Donna of Fredericksburg, and William Ellis Trible Jr. and Ann of Vienna; a daughter, Carol Joan Folio and John of Frederick, Md.; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; her former husband, John Lyle Harry of Maryland; and two sisters, Gloria Moorehead of Maryland and Helen Nephew of Minnesota. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Marvin, Harvey and Paul Balderson. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, at Oakland Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jim Ayers officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Clore-English Funeral Home, Culpeper.
