Mrs. Bertha M. Ketchum, 91, of Indianola, died Tuesday in her home city. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Lone Oak Free Will Baptist Church, of which Mrs. Ketchum was a member. Rev. Harry Lee and Rev. Carl Whitfield will officiate. Burial will be at Choate Prairie cemetery under the direction of Mills Funeral Home. Nephews serving as pallbearers will be Freddie and Charlie Clifton, Eddie and Marvin Farris, Kenneth Williamson and Harold Ott. Mrs. Ketchum was born Oct. 11, 1894 at Russelville, Ark. She had been a resident of Indianola since 1915. Her husband, Chester Ketchum preceded her in death in 1963. Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Whitefield of McAlester; a son, Virgil Ketchum of Indianola; five sisters, Mary Miller and Pauline Fuller, both of California, Alta Migdat and Lecta Clifton, both of McAlester and Gladys Smith of Quinton; 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
