Ida Vivian Muse Stanfield, age 88 of the Crane Eater Community died December 25, 2015 surrounded by all of her family.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a gifted seamstress and a retired textile worker. She was a member of the Crane Eater Community Church for 71 years where she raised her six children to love the Lord. She was a faithful member and served in various offices in the church. She taught Sunday School for more than 30 years, and rarely missed any church functions. She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur Muse and Tiny Moss Muse, husband, Jack Willard Stanfield and two oldest sons, Lynn and Larry Stanfield, five sisters, Velma Maze, Anlean Logan, Johnnie Mae Barton, Eula W. Rich and Irene Rogers and by six brothers, Randolph Muse, Gene Bell, William R. Muse, Lonnie Muse, Hershel L. Muse and L.D. Muse. What a happy time in Heaven when she was reunited with her family and friends that awaited her in Heaven!

She is survived by daughters, Karen Stanfield Fauber (Wayne), Gail Stanfield Brake (Warren), and LaDonna Stanfield Gay (Paul), son, Terry Stanfield, and daughter-in-law, Hilda Walls Stanfield. Seven grandchildren, Emily Stanfield, Jennifer Stanfield Holden, Lucretia Stanfield Cantrell, Keith Stanfield, Kristi Stanfield, Nathan Gay, Megan Gay Stephens and eleven great-grandchildren, Sadie Stanfield, Clay Cantrell, Will Cantrell, Meredith Holden, Jacob Stephens, Christian Stephens, Jesslyn Stephens, Jeryn Stephens, Gracie Faye Gay, Matthew Stanfield and Wyatt Stanfield.

The celebration of her home-going will be at the Crane Eater Community Church Monday evening, December 28th at 7:00 PM where she will lie in state from 4:00 PM Monday until the funeral hour. Services will be conducted by Senior Pastor Howard Strickland and Executive Pastor Paul Gay. Music will be arranged by LaDonna Gay and the church Praise Team. Private interment will be held later at Crane Eater Community Cemetery.
