The death of Sheila (nee Fasquel) Sweeney of Taymouth, NB, wife of William "Bill" Sweeney occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Wednesday, September 22, 2010. Born August 6th, 1954 daughter of the late John and Eileen (nee Lemmon) Fasquel. Sheila is survived by her husband Bill of Taymouth, NB, her two children, Dana Sweeney (Barbara) of Moncton, NB and Krista Sweeney of Taymouth, NB; two grandchildren, Emma and Connor of Moncton, NB; brothers, George Fasquel (Louise), Douglas Fasquel (Linda) and Donnie Fasquel (Margaret) all of Minto, NB; sisters, Linda Fortin (Eugene), Joan Sypher (Garnet) all of Minto, NB. Sheila was predeceased by her brother Elmer Fasquel (Joyce). Sheila was employed with the Daily Gleaner for 36 years. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 38 years and by her children and grandchildren. She was a loving wife, a wonderful mother and a super grandmother.
The family will receive visitors at McAdam's Funeral Home, 160 York Street, Fredericton, NB on Friday, September 24th, 2010 from 5 to 9 PM. A memorial service will take place at Brunswick Street Baptist Church on Saturday, September 25th, 2010 at 2:00 PM with The Rev. Dr. Terry Atkinson officiating. Interment will take place at a later date.
