ROSS, JAMES "DAVID" - The passing of James “David” Ross of Nashwaak Bridge, NB, occurred on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at his home. Born on August 14, 1943 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late James R. and Nellie I. (Willis) Ross. David was a self employed Woodsman and a graduate of Agriculture College. He was a past member of the Nashwaak Valley Fire Department and a member of Taymouth United Church. David enjoyed hunting and fishing. David was survived by his daughters, Carrie L. Ross (Tommy McLean) of Kingsley, NB, Heather M. Astle (Tea) of Grand Prairie, AB; son, J. Andrew D. Ross of Pleasant Valley; four grandchildren, Justin, Tyler, Tiffany and Hope; sisters, Betty Dickieson of Nashwaak Bridge, NB, Alice Cameron of Miramichi, NB, Pearle Fischer (Ivan) of Medicine Hat, AB, Mary Hossack (Glen) of Royal Road, NB; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, David was predeceased by his brother Donnie.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Saturday, June 28, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Taymouth United Church on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at 2 pm with Rev. Yvette Swan officiating. Interment will take place in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
