PAUL DURDEN
Paul Durden, 95, of Social Circle, died Saurday, July 11, 1998.
He was born in Newton County Feb. 22, 1903, the son of the late John Durden and the late Elmira Herren Durden. He was preceded in death by his wife; the late Flora Mae Craft Durden.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 13 at the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home, with the Rev. Harold Henderson officiating. Interment was held in Social Circle City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Danny Howard, Donny Howard, Glen Mobley, Mike Mobley, Jim Head and Tony Burkhalter.
He is survived by his daughters; Mrs. Carolyn Mobley and Mrs. Bernice Howard, both of Monroe; sister: Mrs. Edna Bailey of Covington, seven grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Meadows Funeral Home Inc was in charge of the arrangements.
