BUCKLIN-- Donna J. Lewallen,52,died Tuesday,January 5,2016 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, Wichita,Kansas.
She was born December 2,1963 at Minneola,the daughter of Keith and Patsy (Besson) Austin. A lifetime Bucklin resident, graduating from Bucklin High School in 1981 and obtained her Associated Degree from Dodge City Community College. She worked for Bucklin Public schools as the computer coordinator. On September 25,1982 she married Jay Lee Lewallen in Bucklin.
Survivors include her husband Jay Lee, son Jade Lewellen of Hays; daughter Lida Howard and husband Mitchell of Hays; mother Patsy Austin of Bucklin; brother, Brian Austin and wife Jackie of Medicine Lodge; sister, Kelly Bettles and husband Clint of Hillsboro.
She was preceded in death by her father, Keith.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, January 11,2016 at the First Christian Church in Bucklin,Kansas with Scott Tilley, Stephen Hokanson and Robert Scott officiating.
There will be no public viewing as cremation has taken place.
A private family inurnment will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery at a later date.
