The driver of a truck and the driver of an automobile, whose head-on collision early Tuesday morning on the new Route 40 by-pass to Baltimore, near Catonsville, resulted in the death of a Frederick shipyard worker and injury to one drive and another passenger, are charged with manslaughter and reckless driving. An additional charge of failing to keep to right of center was placed against the driver of the automobile. The dead man is ROSCOE DAVID ZIMMERMAN, 27, of 225 West Seventh Street. Police reported that Zimmerman, riding on the front seat received the full force of the impact which wrecked the pleasure car.
