On Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Hermelinda B. Tirre, 86, lifelong resident of Las Cruces, left her dwelling place on earth and entered eternal life to be with her Heavenly Father at Casa Bella Residential Care Facility surrounded by her loving family. She was born Nov. 10, 1929, to Pedro and Jacinta Uranga Baldonado. Mrs. Tirre was a homemaker and member of the Catholic Church.

Those left to mourn her passing include her loving husband, Cleofas Tirre, of the family home; three sons, John Tirre (Linda), Frank Tirre, Henry Tirre (Josie); two daughters, Eva Luevano (David) and Anita McCormick (Mike); two brothers, Manuel and Victor Baldonado; two sisters, Manuela Amador and Demecia Barela. Other survivors include 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Fred Tirre; three brothers, Jesus, Willie and Raymond Baldonado; two sisters, Angelita Isaac and Elma Cardon.
Visitation for Mrs. Tirre will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 8, 2016, in St. Genevieve Catholic Church, 100 S. Espina, where the funeral Mass will be celebrated immediately thereafter. The rite of committal and interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, 100 N. Espina, where she will be laid to rest.

Serving as casket bearers will be Juan Jose Provencio, Jonathan and Joshua Luevano, Orlando, Christopher Ryan and Henry Tirre. Honorary bearers will be Adam Oshwald, Nick and Frank Tirre.
