Kansas City, Kan -- Simon P. Kreutzer, 85, died April 12, 1989, at St. Joseph Home, Kansas City, Kan.

Born Aug. 1, 1903, at Liebenthal, he married Emma Gerstberger.

A carpenter and lumber yard manager, he was a resident of Kansas City for six years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Kansas City.

Survivors: son, Darrel, Kansas City, Kan.; daughters, Betty Herman, Wichita, Sharon Larimer, El Dorado; brothers, Leonard Kreutzer and Gene Schoeppel, both of Ransom; sisters, Bea Luebbers, Marienthal, Rose Wolfe, Bellingham, Wash.; 15 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

Rosary will be 8 p.m. today at Maple Hill Funeral Home, Kansas City. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Kansas City, Father William Dolan. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
