She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Lee Barger, mother Barbara Watwood Bennett and by 2 grandchildren, Jarred Lee Barger and Christine "Sissy" Franks. Mrs. Barger was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2016, at 2pm in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel. Interment will follow in Floyd Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Wednesday from 5 until 7 pm.
