Eunice G. (Fox) Acteson was born Jan. 16, 1898 in Pubnico, Nova Scotia to Dr. Charles J. and Anne Fox. She passed away Dec. 31, 1995. She married George L. Acteson on June 21, 1927 in Berkeley, CA. They lived in Hoquiam, WA until his death in 1953. In 1965, she moved to San Francisco, CA to live with her two sisters. She moved to Tacoma in March 1988 to be near her family. She had been a seamstress for Browers Women's Apparel and later worked as a bookkeeper for West Coast Crab Co., both in Aberdeen. She was a graduate of Grays Harbor Business College. She was a Past Mother Advisor of Hoquiam Assembly #7, International Order of the Rainbow for Girls; a 60-year member of Mizpah Chapter #30, Order of the Eastern Star in Hoquiam. She was a life-time member of the Retail Clerks Union. She was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Lakewood. She was known for her handmade "Star" pillows. Eunice was preceded in death by her husband, George and her son, Phillip.
