Ruth Ethel Lewis, 98, formerly of Lemoyne, died Sunday in Messiah Village, Upper Allen Twp.

She retired from the state Department of the Treasury and was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church and Citizens Fire Company 1 Auxiliary, both in Lemoyne.

She was the widow of William R. Lewis.
