Dorothy Loraine Walker, 90, of Wanamingo, died Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester.

She was born March 16, 1925 in Goodhue County the daughter of Walter and Jessie (Ward) Stafford. Dorothy married Milbert Walker June 6, 1952 in International Falls. The couple moved to Wanamingo in 1958 where they farmed together for many years. Dorothy was an active member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Aspelund participating in activities with the women of the church. She enjoyed gardening, canning and watching birds.

She is survived by her daughter, Elaine (and Michael) Waddington of Portland, OR and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, 2 sons, 7 sisters and 2 brothers.

Visitation will be at Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Aspelund on Thursday from 10am to 11am. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 11am at Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Aspelund with The Reverend Martin Horn officiating. Interment will be in the Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Aspelund.
