Billy Wayne Collvins was born September 20, 1935 in Avery Texas the third of five children born to Andrew William Collvins and Sadie Lee Harris. He married Ercyle Ernestine Scruggs April 20, 1979 in Parker County, Texas. Billy Wayne died January 6, 2006 just eleven months after the passing of his older brother Jimmy. Both were laid to rest in the Collvins Cemetery, Lone Pine Church, Avery, Texas.
