Major A.H. Hunt was a well known businessman and US Army officer in Seymour, Texas. He moved to Seymour in 1921 and owned an automobile and garage. He moved to Seymour from Dallas. He was a member of the US Army for 16 years rising to the rank of Captain in the regular army. He was promoted to Major in the US Army reserve only a few months ago. Major Hunt's family is well known in western Arkansas and in eastern Oklahoma. His father, Dr. H.C. Hunt, died many years ago and was formerly a resident of Greenwood, Arkansas. Survivors include his wife; two sons - Schubert and Ellis; three sisters - Annie Brock, Edna Osborn, Mrs. Jess Railly; one brother - Dennis Hunt; his mother - Mrs. H.C. Hunt.
