John C. Boone was first married to Mary Coulter Wardlaw in 1841 in St. Charles County, Missouri. They had 4 children. Mary legally divorced him in 1884 in St. Louis. He married (*probably not an official marriage) Nannie A. Bryson (132142434) and they had one child, Josie Ione (60052433).
IMPORTANT NOTE: I have searched for his burial place for several years and talked with a number of historians in the Sulphur Springs area. We have NOT found a grave with his name on it. Based on what I know, the Confederate Cemetery in Fayetteville appears to be the most likely place but this is NOT confirmed. I continue to search. (Margy Miles)
