Reverend J. W. Lake went to Niles Michigan yesterday to officiate in funeral services for Adam Barcus, a former Bremen resident, who died in Niles Monday after a long illness. Mr. Barcus left Bremen about twenty years ago, moving from here to Kansas City. After about ten years there, he moved to a farm near Niles. He had been ill most of the time since moving there. He is survived by the widow and one daughter and two sons. Mrs. Anna Schultz, Ormond Barcus, and Arthur Barcus, all of near Niles.
