Maxine (Hager Norris) Hawkins, 91, from Midvale, died on December 13, 2015.
She was born October 3, 1924 in Pittsburg, Kansas, daughter of John and Anna Hager.
She married Frank Norris October 20, 1942. After he served three years in the Navy, Frank and Maxine lived in Bell Gardens, CA, where Frank worked for Southern Pacific Railroad as a switchman for 33-1/2 years.
In 1979 he retired and they moved to Midvale, ID. Frank died in 1988.
Maxine married retired minister, Fred Hawkins, on October 1, 1993. Fred died in 2001.
Maxine was also preceded in death by her brother, James H. Hager, and her sister, Rose Walkman.
Survivors include: sister, Helen (Don) Mandt, of Bend, OR; sister-in-law, Darlene Hager; and brother-in-law, Tom Waltman; numerous nieces and nephews; stepsisters-in-law, Dolly Wolf and Ardis Hawkins; and stepdaughters, Marilyn (Stephen) Donnellan, Nancy (Ken) DeLong, Diane (Tom — deceased) Hawkins; eight stepgrandchildren and 13 stepgreat-grandchildren.
