William Boyd Lineberry, 80, passed away at his home in Check on Monday, December 28, 2015. He was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church and retired manager with WFNR Radio and later S. G. Wimmer & Son. He was a U. S. Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by daughter, Michelle “Pettie” Lineberry Mullins and Veronica Manzella.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Gail Lineberry; stepsons and their wives, Darrell and Lori Criner of Radford, Donnie and Wendy Criner of Alleghany Springs, and Dean Criner of Floyd; 8 grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Shelby Lineberry of Galax; and sister, Faye Lawson of Culpepper.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at the Gethsemane Baptist Church in Radford with Rev. Jerry Gibson and Kenneth Wells officiating. Mr. Lineberry was previously interred at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin.
