Glenn E. Stewart, 72, of Moss Point, Miss., formerly of Terre Haute, passed away Sunday, Dec. 27, 2015, surrounded by his family, in Pascagoula, Miss., Glenn was born July 14, 1943, in Terre Haute, Ind.
He was a proud veteran of service in the U.S. Navy and served for more than 35 years as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. He was also an active participant in More Life United Pentecostal Church of Grand Bay, Ala.
Glenn was receded in death by his father, Ernan Harlan Stewart.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mary E. Stewart; his three daughters, Regina (Randy) Miller of Bassfield, Miss., Loretta Talley of Crestview, Fla., and Paula (Russell) Keene of Livermore Falls, Maine; his mother, Marguerite Stewart of Terre Haute; two sisters, Dorothy McKissick of Terre Haute, and Nedra Russell of Naperville, Ill; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Local funeral services for Glenn will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home in West Terre Haute,. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, with graveside military rites provided by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 972. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until service time Saturday.
