George Jacob Waller passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at his home at the age of 56 years, eight months, six days.

Jake was born April 23, 1959, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was the twin son of George Everett and Cedar Marguerite (Matin) Waller. As a young boy Jake grew up in Hominy, Oklahoma, where he began kindergarten. Jake later graduated from Hominy High School with the Class of 1977. Following high school, Jake furthered his education at the University of Oklahoma in Norman. He later returned to Hominy and began working in the oil field for Performance Oil. Jake later started his own private security services Waller Protection and Security. Jake served as security for White Hair Memorial for many years and then worked for the Sac and Fox Tribe as a security officer for several years. Jake later returned to do what he loved most ranching. In 1982, Jake was united in marriage to Jane and to that union there is one child. In 1986, Jake was united in marriage to Crissy and to that union there are four children.

Jake has been an active part of the Osage Indian Community. He was a member of the Osage Nation 30th Tribal Council from 2000-2002, Hominy Indian Village Five Man Board, Housing Authority, and Tax Commission Advisor. Jake also worked consulting for the gaming commission for several years. Jake served as Whipman for the Zon-Zo-Li District.

Survivors are his five children Jacob Waller of Stratton, Colorado his children Jane, Matlin, Harold and Micheal Waller, Christena Nichole Ellis of Nebo, Kentucky and her children Hayden, Treva, Dawson and Drema, George Little Sun Waller of Hominy, Oklahoma and his daughter Alexis, Leah Matin Waller of Hominy, Oklahoma, Cole Jace Waller of Hominy, Oklahoma, three siblings Belle Renee Wilson and husband John, Regina Hill, Everett Waller and wife Marian all of Hominy, Oklahoma and numerous other relatives and friends that will mourn his passing. Jake was preceded in death by his mother Cedar Marguerite (Matin) Waller, father George Everett Waller, son Matthew Roderick Waller; two sisters Rosa Pledger and Rita Hill.

Funeral services ~ Friday, January 1, 2016, will be held at the Waller Residence. Burial followed in the A.J. Powell Memorial Cemetery in Hominy, Oklahoma under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home in Cleveland, Oklahoma.
