SP4 US ARMY He served in the Army as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division in the Vietnam War.He joined Customs and Border Protection in 1974 in Fort Kent, Maine; was assigned in Toronto from the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s, then was transferred to Buffalo. He worked at all the international bridges in the Buffalo Niagara region, retiring in 2005.
