Our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother passed peacefully on December 24, 2015 in Salt Lake City at the age of 96. Mother of Crystal Hutchings of Salt Lake City; Susan Brandt of Heber City; and Step mother of Alvin Ty Casto of Salt Lake City. Emojean has 28 Grandchildren, 50 Great-Grandchildren, and 13 Great-Great-Grandchildren. Preceded in death by her loving husband LaMar Casto; her brother, sister, Granddaughter, Grandson and Great Grandson. Emojean loved dancing with her sweetheart, spending time with friends and family, fishing and camping. She loved crocheting, embroidery, and sewing to create special Christmas and birthday presents for her family. Emojean was a true matriarch. She had the ability to make everyone feel special and loved. She loved each of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was a wonderful, loving and amazing woman. She was a happy person and truly a joy to be around. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 2, 1:00 pm at the Heber LDS 6th Ward, 1365 East Center Street. A viewing will be held from 11:30-12:30 pm prior to services. Interment will follow in the Heber City Cemetery. Services are in the care of Olpin-Hoopes Funeral Home.
