Services were Monday at St. Paul A. M. E. Church in Mulberry with the pastor, the Rev. W. L. Leslie, officiating. Burial was in Mulberry Cemetery with Gregory and Howard Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Laura Bell Hazlitt of Fayetteville; two daughters, Mrs. Bettie Garner of Huntsville and Miss Margaret Ann Hazlitt of California; a son, Clarence Hazlitt, Jr. of Nashville; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Grant of Petersburg and Mrs. Elizabeth Cunningham of Chicago; and four brothers, General Hazlitt of Los Angeles, California, James Hazlitt, Oakland, California, Raymond Hazlitt of Berkley, California, and Robert Hazlitt, Nashville.
