he Lord took Lynda June Culwell-Waddle home to be with the love of her life Duain on Friday, November 27, 2015. It broke our hearts to lose you but you did not go alone, a part of us went with you the day God took you home.
Lynda was born in Bakersfield, Ca on September 3, 1941 to Elmer and Iva Joe. Lynda was the oldest of five, Chuck Fosdick (deceased), Randy Fosdick, Delmer Culwell and Donna Culwell-Dark.
Lynda attended Shafter High School and graduated in 1959. She spent the following two years at Bakersfield College where she graduated with her Registered Nursing Degree. Lynda went back to school and graduated with her bachelor's degree from Fresno State University in 1977. She spent her life changing the lives of countless patients and children. The school children would call her "Nurse Leenda." Lynda was a beloved mother of three to Adria, Kevin and Bryan.
She married the love of her life, Duain Coleman Waddle, on September 10, 1991 with $40.00 in hand and enough gas to make it to Nevada. She inherited four wonderful step children Mike, Brian, Jeff and Kevin.
Lynda was a doting grandmother to thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She made our days happier by giving each one of us a piece of her heart. She is preceded in death by her husband Duain Waddle, parents Elmer and Iva Joe, son Kevin Annette, and brother Chuck Fosdick.
A graveside service will be held at Exeter District Cemetery on Friday, December 4, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.
