Born on April 26, 1935, in Youngstown, OH, he was the son of the late Benny Troy and Dorothy Flynn Cromer. Mr. Cromer served in the S.C. National Guard and was retired from Kendall Company – Oakland Plant. He was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church and the Shriner's and the C.B. Club.
He is survived by a son, Vincent D. Cromer of Newberry; daughters, Dorothy Broadwell of Starr, Debbie Brazell of Columbia, Pamela Berley of Newberry, Mary Yost of Pomaria and Michelle Brazell of Whitmire; nine grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. Mr. Cromer was predeceased by a sister, Nancy Ferry.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 pm Friday, December 4, 2015, at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospital, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605. (McSwain-Evans Funeral Home of Newberry, S.C.)
