Paula Elizabeth Schwaller, 62, of Mary's Home, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at Jefferson City Manor in Jefferson City, Missouri. She was born September 29, 1953, in Wichita Falls, Texas, the daughter of Bernard James (B.J.) Schwaller Sr. and Josephine (Schulte) Schwaller. She was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church in Mary's Home, Mo. Paula enjoyed being a choir member for several years. She was employed with the Department of Revenue for 29 years until her retirement and then part time at Schulte's Fresh Foods in Jefferson City, Mo. where she worked for 28 years. She attended elementary school in Mary's Home, Mo. and then St. Francis Academy in Nevada, Mo. Paula was a great friend to everyone she met.
Survivors include: her mother, Josephine Schwaller of Mary's Home, Mo.; sisters, Cathy and John Hanson of Plattsburg, Mo., Rosie and Kevin Beck of Mary's Home, Mo.; brothers, Bernard Jr. and Becky Schwaller, Sam and Carolyn Schwaller, Mike Schwaller and David Schwaller, all of Mary's Home, Mo., Gerald and Judy Schwaller of Eldon, Mo.; 21 nieces and nephews. Her father, one brother, Patrick and one sister in law Terri Schwaller preceded her in death. Visitation will be Saturday, December 26, 2015, from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church in Mary's Home, Mo. with the Funeral Mass beginning at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Patrick J. Shortt officiating. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Snows Cemetery. Memorials in her name are suggested to Our Lady of the Snows School or ALS Foundation. Arrangements are under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, Mo.
